We honored veterans a few days early at ECN! Thank you to Ms. Scholl and Mrs. McCord with the band and choir for the music. Ms. Newman's father, Jerry Newman, spoke to us about what it means to be a veteran.
We are honored to have a veteran on staff, Ms. Newman, our third-grade teacher.

We are excited to announce our September Students of the Month!
Our winner for k-4 is Mykah Thompson from Mrs. Merrill's 2nd-grade class! He is a great helper to his peers and teachers! He always has a positive attitude and his teachers shared that he is a joy to have in class!
The 5-8 winner is Lyberti Feldthouse in 6th grade! She is willing to go above and beyond in her work while also supporting others! She helps teachers without being asked and is an excellent role model for younger students.
Please help us congratulate these students!
